I think they’re what my brother used to put some shelves up on an internal wall for me but had forgotten because it was such an ordeal getting them up as the brackets were rubbish.
Perhaps, like all those mini diggers buried under ridiculously large basements in London, there are grip-its hidden under polyfilla in new builds all around the country?
Wow! (I also have a house built with cardboard and optimism and am in awe, I cannot begin to imagine what sorcery has been deployed.)
Amazing devices that go into hollow walls and then two wings open out and tighten to hold them in place. I had no idea such things even existed.

I'm not sure you can remove them without destroying the wall - certainly they made huge holes. Eep.
How amazing!! Was it hanging in Alderley Edge?
Yep it was in the dining room.
It certainly rings a bell and it’s an amazing piece of art
You'll have to come and see it in its new home one day and reacquaint yourself.
I would love to
It’s epic!
Epic is a good word!
Wow! That painting is amazing and it fits perfectly there. It would make me smile every morning too 😍
Yes it means a lot to me.
