From the snippets in the newsletter the white looks like hawthorn blossom on the trees - so from an aesthetic point of view it looks natural and lovely
Using Caligo Safewash here - white relief ink is a breed apart! They all seem to take so long to actually dry, in fact I'm convinced it never really does... I hope you manage to find a workable solution soon.
I've had the opposite problem with Safe Wash White before! I had a tube that would dry almost as I was trying to roll it out - the retailer thought it might have been stored or transported in freezing conditions. (I should mention this was before Caligo was taken over by Cranfield).
This is a brilliant ghost story. If it weren't so awful 😕 Iny short career as a printer I decided I didn't have enough life left to wait for printing ink to dry. Hope things improve 🤗

Ha! Well that’s a glass half full approach!

Wow, treasure there!

Thanks Caroline. And people wonder why I don't produce prints more quickly. *sobs*
Perhaps some sage (or holy water?!), just in case?
Good idea!
It’s probably my fault.
You put a charm on that photo didn't you? I'm now hearing you shout "It's Hawthorn Time!" in the style of Beetlejuice.
*Shifty witch face*
What a tale of woe. I hope you crack the mystery code of printing ink delinquency soon. AA
Thanks Angela - I hope so too!
That must have been heart breaking. I’d have tried a 2nd print too in disbelief. Fingers and toes crossed
I was definitely in denial. Just pretend it isn’t happening and it will go away.
